Laptop Fan Replacement - PLEASE READ

I have an HP laptop g6-2230ee and the fan and heat sink are damaged for this model.

I searched on eBay and Amazon and I didn't find a fan matching my model number: g6-2230ee.

What should i do?

there is no heat sink with the fan and separately it's not available online, hope you might find it in computer shops.

i went to a place in Ontario and it was a complete fraud and rip off, they diagnosed my laptop for 85 $ and told me "your laptop is not powering on, it is either of fan, heat sink, viruses" so they optioned me to run virus scan for 150$ then see if the problem will be resolved, I re installed the windows and found out that both the fan and heat sink not functioning and working. So I want to replace both.

Where to get the heat sink from?

i had to pay the shop more money to tell me what the heck is the problem coming from. It is resulting from the heat sink. Long story short, can someone give me a link for a new heat sink compatible with g6-2230ee

Heatsinks don't break unless they broke it. They don't "go bad". It's a piece of metal.

The best way to find a replacement, like the link I provided, is to get the part number from it inside.

I dont know. I assume an employee mistakenly did that or intentionally, I dont know.

I youtubed many videos on how to replace a heatsink and a fan. I think I would rather to keep the 85$ services fees to my pocket bobo!
