Laptop fans (sometimes) do not work.

Not sure if this laptop runs ACPI causing the fans to work when temps run up high, but-

Laptop fans only kick in when CPU temps go up, and no more than 2-3 seconds and it shuts off again.
Average temp idle: 34C

Laptop's 4 months old.

CPU: i7-7700HQ
GPU: GTX 1060

It works perfectly fine beyond 50C.

it is normal , fans does not spin until cpu gpu temps go beyond 60c because it is not Required

I used yo have that problem. You want to know what went wrong? Cigarettes tar jamming the fan at high levels. When i got it replaced they told me not to smoke closer than 2 meters from it.
