im looking for a laptop mainly just for some programing and simulations.

Im up for lenovo cuz i think the ssd is way better con than more ram. But heard that Dell laptops rock.

If the hdd is upgradable in the lenovo then go for that one as the increase in cpu and gpu power is not worth the price increase. Also you may want to upgrade the ram depending on how much multi tasking you do.

But beware these cpu's are not designed for programming in mind.
