Laptop For College

So I've been looking for a new laptop for college and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the HP ENVY TouchSmart 15t-j000. It seems like a good deal for the price, especially since there's a 20% coupon.

The specs I want:
i7-4700MQ
740M w/ 2Gb DDR3
1920x1080 touchscreen
Backlit keyboard
8Gb DDR3 1600Mhz
1Tb HDD w/ 24Gb Cache Drive

The total ends up being $863

The only thing I'm concerned about it the thickness. It's a little over an inch which seems a little fat to me. Do you think I should go with this or look into something else?

It's a powerful ultrabook but it weights over 4 lbs which is a bit heavy in the ultrabook family. If mobility is your priority then you should look into something else like the Acer Aspire S7 or the Macbook Airs. Performance wise the Envy 15 is a beast!

Thanks. I decided to buy it, weight isn't really that big an issue for me and I'd rather have the computing power.
