Im thinking to buy a slim laptop which is able to play dota 2 at 4k.. Thinking abt Msi GS72 stealth pro and EVGA sc17... Is 970M enough for dota 2 at 4k to get decent fps or do i need 980M??? Please give ur thoughts..

A GTX 970m is about equal to the performance of a desktop GTX 960. Below is a video showing DOTA 2 being played a 4k resolution with what I believe is max graphic settings using a GTX 960.

Comments are in German and it seems like software is being used to record gameplay which does affect performance. There is one comment (in English) where someone has the same GPU and is able to get constant 60 FPS.

DOTA 2 uses the Source 2 Engine which generally has pretty low system requirements. You should do more research on your own though,

no laptop is capable of 4k gameplay. Let alone most desktops cannot get smooth 4k gameplay.
