Laptop for gaming/school

HI guys i was wondering whether someone could recommend a good laptop for school and light to medium gaming, nothing too heavy: games such as football manager and 7 days to die
I have a maximum budget of £700 or around $1000 if your in the US.
i am based in the Uk
