I'm looking for a laptop to run Microsoft Flight Simulator X and the upcoming Microsoft Flight. I'm a student right now, and I'll be going off to flight school soon, so a laptop would be a better choice as opposed to a desktop. My budget is $1300, and I've been really considering this laptop http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+Laptop+/+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B+i7+Processor+/+17.3%22+Display+/+6GB+Memory+/+640GB+Hard+Drive+-+Black/1257894.p?id=1218243761956&skuId=1257894 What are your thoughts and/or suggestions?

Hello Stunna101;
That's not too bad a value and if Flight is anything like FSX it should do fine.
For about the same price you can get a custom Sager NP8130 @ $1172
2nd Gen Core i7-2630QM 2.0Ghz Sandy Bridge CPU, 8GB RAM, 500GB 7200rpm HDD 15.6" 1920x1080 LCD & GTX 460M GPU.

I forgot to mention that Sager doesn't include the OS at that price. I suppose you have access to a student deal on Windows 7?
