Laptop for Photo/Video editing and Gaming - 1400€

Hello,

I'm looking for a laptop to Photo/Video editing for 1400€/$1550. I'll be making a purchase in ~2 weeks, I'd prefer to don't increse budget unless there's something much better right behind the corner. So, basically what am I looking for is full desktop replacement which can handle all the normal stuff, video/photo editing and some serious gaming. Portability isn't important, as long as it does the job. Since my last laptop got me overheatingophobia, I really don't want this laptop to overheat and throttle performance - I can sacrifce higher performance and temps to low but stable ones. It also needs good screen with decent color reproduction. Other things aren't that much important.


1. 1400€/$1550 (6000PLN)

2. 15'-17'

3. 1080p but bigger is better

4. Desktop replacement

5. Used mostly plugged in

6. Battlefield 1, Rainbow Six: Siege - 60fps on high settings

7. Photo/Video editing

8. 1TB+256SSD+

9. Ebay, allegro.pl

10. 2-3 years

11. Not really needed but optical drive would be a plus

12. No brand preference

13. Poland

14. No overheating and thermal throttling

If you are going to be plugged in, why not buy a desktop? Even a small form factor pc should be able to out perform a laptop. Otherwise look for msi dominator series or asus g series.

Well... mostly because I need a laptop - it's a little bit hard to carry PC with monitor in your bag.

Do you recommend any specific models?

I don't have specific models of the dominator or asus g series. Just make sure it is a desktop replacement when you buy from asus as some are designed to be used on the move. Or you can risk it and go for a custom made laptop from clevo.

you need to know that a gtx1050ti is able to play:
-battlefield1 at 58fps on high 1920x1080
-Rainbow Six Siege at 92.2fps on high 1920x1080

so you could consider a dell 7567 with a 4k panel display
