Hello everyone.I will start a masters degree in February (mathematical engineering)and i am looking for a laptop that i can use at the university for programming, coding etc. I think at the master we will use matlab, python and c++
is it better to get mac os or windows with dual boot linux? My budget is max 1500 euros
i have found 3 laptops that i like
i will use the laptop most for coding, programming, watching a movie on the go ,learning using linux and perhaps gaming (two of the optiona only allow light gaming but i will have also have my pc for gaming )

I mean you can also just get a refurbished latitude e6230 laptop for 200€ and it will do everything except gaming since all of those tasks are extremely light weight.

Getting a mac for programming is kinda dumb since you'll have to write programs for windows or a linux distro 99% of the time so you have to work in a virtual windows enviroment on it then.
