Well I'm in need of a new laptop, I don't really want a gaming laptop because they tend to get out of my price range and they are pretty heavy at that price range anyways, plus I can do most of my gaming at home tbh, I will only play League of legends at it.
But It needs to be pretty fast , I can't stand those sluggish and laggy old laptops... I do a lot of multitasking , but nothing heavy like video or that type of stuff..
14 to 15'' will be nice.
Also I can't really have a heavy laptop since I carry a lot of books around and the weight is bad enough lol
So please any recommendation will be welcome.

Thanks for your time!

Well there's always the Lenovo Y series, they have both 14" and 15" models, with the 15"s going a bit over the $1000 mark

and

Ultimately I think the Y50's would be better because they get the beefier GTX 860M and the i7 quads, whereas the Y40s use the AMD chips and the slower but better on battery, i5-U series chips.

Looks like no matter where I go I comeback to the lenovos lol
do these ones tend to be heavy? I m so used to see the super fat gaming laptops lol, because I'm going to be carrying around big part of the day .
I'm going to a nearby store to get a better idea of size and weight , but I'll like no know more options . Thank you

Can you recommend one ?
If it's less than the y50 great, but I reallycant stand not being able to multitask but nothing extreme , like playing league , and listening to music , or using word, and having chrome open with a lot of tabs I tend to do that lol , like 5 to 10 tabs open .

He , i have a laptop with i3 2350M and usually have 10-20 tabs and its fine . For more tabs you need more RAM . 8GB should be sufficient . But for gaming , s dedicated GPU is preferable

Gotcha , never had an Intel cpu before , u know if I for example get an laptop with Intel I5 , 8gbs ram , like the y50 (with I5)or even the y40 will be sufficient for my needs , since I don't do any heavy gaming , all I do is league , and my heavy gaming relies on my desktop .
