Laptop hardware combination

I'm trying to buy a laptop with DOS. But I saw one with Linux and the other one with PC. As I wanna install Win7 32 bit professional,what should I go for? Explanation would really help me out! Hoping for some replies and guides. Cheers!

I just to install Win7. That's all. 'Hardware platform',what does it even mean? I just don't know. I saw the spec and started this tread. Can't I install Win 7 on a Linux hardware platform? It means that the laptop has linux installed, linux is mostly a free operating system like windows.

Yes, you can install windows on that laptop.

Also, just get a laptop with windows installed, instead of buying an installation disk
