laptop has become extremely slow

for the past few months my laptop sceen was shoing " operating system not found" on startup.. i performed a clean install of windows 7 aroind 3 days ago.. bt still the problem persists and in addn now the laptop has become extremely slow.. what should i do now ??

Do a Checkdisk (Google it) and Virus Scan (eg Avast and Malwarebytes) on the Hard Drive

I performed the dskchk n virus scan as u advised bt the performance is still same n windows startup is still giving me prbms.. Shud i go fr a new hard disc drive

Remove the covers and blow the dust out. Use a laptop cooler to keep the temps down.

If checkdisk showed your drive as being OK and you don't have any viruses you need to use your laptop recovery disk.

Now my laptop is not even starting .. on startup after booting again n again using F2 n nw its hanging on the startup .. Thn taking me to startup repair after taking around 10 min.. At tht point its showing the blue windows screen with the mouse cursor rotating .. After 1 hr its shutting down again with no startup repair n then whole startup process repeating itself again n again ..

Then you can't repair your laptop. You can take it to a shop and get them to repair it. Or you can buy another laptop.
