Laptop keyboard question

Okay heres the story, i was sitting in the classroom, and my teacher's laptop keyboard broke down, she was typing typing and bam nothing responds. She called me and asked how to fix it, i said try to restart the computer, and it worked, the keyboard worked again. But what if it wouldnt have worked? What should've i done then? discuss

You could bring the laptop to a repair shop, they will do some tests and find out what the problem is with the keyboard.
