Laptop lags when i play while charging

when i play dota my game dosen t lag but then i play while charging all of a sudden the brightness increases or decreases and my game lags for a few seconds. After a while again the brightness get s back to normal and my game lags for a few seconds. Wat do i do to get rid of this lag?

Try the following, Open control panel then power options next select change plan plan settings by selecting the balanced recommended option. Click on change advanced power settings in the next screen. In the dialogue box scroll down and expand multimedia settings. Then expand when playing video and then change the plugged in option to balanced.
