Laptop Light Indicator

I recently bought a Dell Inspiron Laptop. I just noticed that the laptop's light indicator is not on, but is plugged in & indicator on taskbar says, fully charged (Adaptor's light is on (where it is plugged in)). My question is, shouldn't my Inspiron have the light indicator on, saying it is on & if it's not working properly, how can I fix this?

Well as i know ur power indicator should be on while ur laptop is running but, even if it is not on, it should'nt be a problem as long as ur laptop is working fine, some new generation laptops do not show the power indicator light, now is there anything wrong with ur laptop functionality ?? , if not then its fine, u dont need to worry
