Question Laptop not moving past 89% after quiting a game?

I was playing a game, and after I quit, it didn't move past 89% battery for atleast 5 minutes. I just shut it down for now. Also my laptop was plugged in for the entire time, even before I opened the game. I am using a Dell g15 5511.

do you have dell power manager? that can control when the laptop get charge.

I will have to check, but for now as far as I can see, it is charging but I am afraid that if I play more heavy games that I have like f1 22 or COD, this might keep happening.

Laptops will charge much more slowly while you are using them. The G15 has a 130W power brick, and depending on configuration can actually utilize most of that available power, leaving very little for charging the battery.

If you want to be able to charge the battery efficiently while gaming, get a bigger power brick.
