laptop please help

my laptop as some of u know is an aspire v5 i tryed every thing to try to boot to win 7 and i cant get it to work i cant use a usb cd rom when i plug it in it freezes intel i unplug it please help.

Please elaborate further. Since when is this happening? Did you install anything new in it recently? Are you getting any error messages?
