Laptop powers up but does not boot

Hey guys, my dad was working on a report when his Acer Ferrari One netbook suddenly froze. I tried the usual Ctrl+Alt+Del and tried clicking and moving the mouse but it did not respond. I turned off the laptop by pressing the power switch for more around 10 secs and when we tried to turn it on the fan/hard drive did not turn on. I tried taking out the battery, plugging it through the power supply but to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi, Can you please try the following things:

-Try unplugging the battery and holding the power button for 1 minute.
-Try re-seating the ram.
