Laptop really laggy

I have an Asus G56JR gaming laptop, which has i7 4700HQ, 16gb RAM and 1TB Seagate hybrid sshd. I haven't used the laptop for 2 months until yesterday. It's incredibly laggy. Even right-clicking on the desktop will take like 2 seconds for the menu to pop up. I've cleared temp data using CCleaner, ran anti spyware checks. I'm currently trying to defrag my OS partition which is only 350gb, and yet, Defraggler is putting an estimate of more than a day for completion. The antivirus scan I was running before was at 0% for a really long time. I'm not sure what I can else I can troubleshoot.

My best suggestion is to wait for the defragger to finish as that is most likely the cause. This process hogs a lot of resources and will slow it down.
