My laptop screen has turned negative. it is not in high contrast mode. It is fine with external monitor Also I reconnected the LCD cable but no change. Is it a bad LCD?
If it is negative even on the bios screen, than it is likely a hardware issue.
Try connecting the video out to an external monitor, and seeing if is normal, or a negative. If it is still a negative, than the issue is with the graphics card. If it is limited to the laptop display, and the external display is ok, than the issue is with the laptop display.

I connected it to an external monitor and it works fine. So I will have to change my laptop display. Thank you.
