hi, so today after pulling out 3 keys, i broke the 2 pins at the top of the main bracket.

to be more clear, here is a video of my issue im trying to explain.

http://

its this piece, as you can see at the bottem or top, there are 2 pins, those are broken, both of them..

is it possible to glue the white part to the mount part?
since it wont stay in its place,, only on the keycap itself, but not on the mount part. ( underneath the key caps, not sure what that is called )

sorry for my bad english, hopefully you understand my issue..

Thanks

It might if they can see that you serviced it yourself. Otherwise, if the replacement keyboard is genuine and your work is clean, they likely won't ever be able to tell. You can try to find the clips, but they're usually very difficult to find.

If it is under warranty though, you might want to have them replace it for you.
glue will prevent key from moving as the 2 pieces acts as a scissor lift allowing the key to go up & down. also those 2 pieces are not always compatible with all keys even from the same manufacturer of laptops as I know that from experience.

Does this avoid warrenty? or should i just buy 3 of these switches?

its the acer aspire e15.
