Laptop temperature while gaming?

Hello all,

Got a quick question, I recently purchased a new laptop. Its a Gigabyte U2442 and its pretty quick.

Its specs are as follows:
Intel Core i5-3210M
8GB Ram
128GB mSATA SSD
NVIDIA Geforce GT 640M / 2GB

What I would like to know is it okay if the CPU & GPU hover around 65C - 70C when I'm playing video games?

Also would having the temperature this high ruin the battery charge?

Those temps are fine for a lappy while gaming...90 plus would be a problem...

No effect on battery at all...
