Laptop turns off and on as it boots up.

My computer files were corrupted so my cousin had to take out the ssd and put it in his computer so he can format it and install windows 8. It started working after that but the only problem was it would take forever to boot up, maybe like 8 hours, and it turns on and off as it boots up. The only thing that lights up as it boots up is the power light and charging light. The lights stay on for about 25 seconds before turning off.


Last week I forgot to charge it so it shut down. I charged it and turned it on and went about my day. When I came back around 8 hours later it still hadn't turned on. It wouldn't turn on after 10 hours or even a whole day. It still turns on and off as it boots up. I turned it off and left it alone for a week. When I turned it on the same thing still happened.

You can't install the operating system on another computer and move it to yours. Install Windows again, but this time with the drive in the laptop, not another system.

It may be a bad hard drive also, if the correct clean setup does not work, try a different hard drive. If that does not work, this may be a motherboard issue.
