I really need some help from you guys, help would be greatly appreciated.
First of all my specs(laptop):
Intel Core i5-2430M 2.4GHz-3.0GHz with turbo boost
AMD Radeon HD 6850M 1GB vram
8gb Ram 750GB HDD
Now to my problem:
My pc is underperforming REALLY badly, basically i can't run Battlefield: bad company 2 at 1600x900 on LOWEST (runs ~45fps), on bf3 on 1280x720 and all lowest it lets me get away with ~50fps. (While this laptop should let me run bf3 at native resolution(1600x900) and medium graphics @60fps).
I have tried: Cleaning dust out of my pc *THOROUGHLY** *Replacing the thermal paste *Getting an external fan but my pc is still says it's running @80celsius when gaming(tested with bf3), i don't know what's up but it, im guessing could be missdisplaying the temperature or something(i use speedfan). I don't know if the performance issues are connected with the heat or what. So i need help from you guys, because im out of ideas.
Sorry again if i'm posting to the wrong subreddit.
EDIT: My pc is running Windows 7, high performance, acer aspire 7750G-2434G62Mnkk.

How did you determine you should be getting 60FPS on Medium at 1600x900?

I know the desktop HD7750 is similar and can do this, however:
1) You have a dual-core CPU at a lower frequency than what the HD7750 benchmarks were done at (i5-4670K at 3.8GHz)

2) Your AMD video drivers for the laptop might not be up to date.

3) You may be getting some thermal throttling of the CPU and/or GPU.
