Laptop uses integrated graphics instead of dedicated gpu

Hi,i bought a new laptop lenovo legion y520 with specs as
Core i7 7700hq
Gtx 1050 Ti
256 GB SSD
1 tb harddisk
16 gb ram
The problem is that my games always run on integrated graphics i tried all the solutions i could find on the fourms but nothing worked help would really be appreciated.

I don't think you can. From my knowledge the Nvidia card will ramp up when the system needs it. Are you noticing low frame rates in games? Download gpuz, fire up a game and check if the gpu clock increases. If so, then you're running off the dedicated GPU.
