Laptop With Reaktek HD Audio Has Way Too Much Bass

I've somewhat recently purchased a laptop for school and I'm going to use it for entertainment purposes for the summer. I've purchased some IEMs to be used with the laptop for youtube and spotify. I've noticed that, basically, the bass is overwhelming. I'm experiencing like, a deep rumbling bass on anything that's being played. I've gone into the Realtek HD Audio Manager and turned the bass all the way down, but that's not helped one bit. When I plug the IEMs into my phone or desktop, everything sounds fine.

Are there other options that I may be missing? I'm stumped on what to do.

You could try disableing all enhancements in playback devices for the realtek?

Look under the *Sound Effects" tab.

I have mine set thus:

Sound Effects -- "None".
Loudness Equalization -- unticked.
Equalizer - - "None"

Click 'OK' to save changes.
