Question Laptop won’t turn on after removing and putting back the battery

So what I did was removing the battery and putting it back (because I have keyboard issues) then the laptop keyboard issue is gone but now I cant charge my laptop led light is off but the laptop runs fine with only the battery.

I tried removing the battery and plug the ac adapter but still it wont turn on.

Now my laptop battery is 0%

Im using Asus X556UQ

What should be the problem? Please help

press the power button for about 30seconds

replug the battery and charger and wait, don´t turn on the laptop yet. Is the charger led on now?

I also tried to do that but still it won’t turn on. Im really confused my laptop is running fine with just the battery. Im also thinking if its a motherboard problem but it was fine with just the battery
