I have a Lenovo Y410P and a Samsung UN32EH5000FXZA (model #) and every time I plug the HDMI into the TV from the laptop, the TV will just immediately shut down. On my Samsung LN52A5503PFXZA, it simply won't show up on the TV. I don't really care which TV I end up resolving the problem with, I just hate using the Acer P236H because it's smaller, the quality isn't as good, and takes up space on my desk, while the TV is already there. Any help is much appreciated.

I guess it would help to let you know I've tried using "Project to Second Screen" and I've gone to my Intel Graphics Properties and nothing has worked so far. The house also got struck by lightning months ago and I haven't gotten a chance to check the warranty on my laptop so if anyone could help me out with the Lenovo Y410P warranty and the whole possibly frying-the-HDMI-port thing that would be amazing as well.
