Laptop wont find Network Adapter?

My laptop was really slow and it had alot of viruses so we re installed windows, something we've done a thousand times on our other computer. But this time when we re installed it, it says theres no network adapter si we cant get internet on it..we've been trying to look it up but have found nothing.. I dont get what else we can do..

Do you have any DVD/CD-ROMs that came with the computer? (Driver disc)

If not, you can download the drivers on another computer and use a USB thumb drive to transfer it to the laptop.

we've tried installing drivers it wont work because my laptops not finding the network adapter,

Do you have access to another computer where you can download the drivers and put them on a DVD and/or flash drive?

we cant download the drivers because it wont find the netwrok adapter, thats the problem we're having.

You need to download it - because you can't download it on your computer - go to another computer and download the drivers - and then either burn them to an optical disc or transfer them to a USB flash drive.

we did that... it just keeps saying theres no network adapter, it wont let us downnload the drivers.

Does the device show in the device manager? It should show under Network Adapters. If it doesn't show then it could be bad. If it finds it and doesn't find the drivers it will usually show the device name and have a yellow check next to it.
