Laptop won't shut down!!

My 2 month old laptop won't shut down/restart/log off. The keyboard stopped working which I know will be fixed by a restart which I can't do. I've tried holding the power button down and closing the lid - none of it will work. The laptop doesn't have a removable battery. It's the Dell 15 7559. How do I shut it down?!

Hi,

I would suggest removing the battery itself to completely shutdown the laptop.

Once the battery is off the laptop, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then put everything back together then see if the same problem will persist or not.
