laptop won't start up without system restore

Please, I need urgent help.. My laptop won't turn on withou system restore and I don't want it to happen. As I wasn't expecting I didn't have backup files and now I can't creat them blecause I've to do the restore. Is there anyway to stop it or, at least don't lose photos or documents. I have an Asus with windows 7

reinstall windows and all your data will be transfer to the fresh install.
