Ok so im working on a acer v5 551. It has a bad screen so i went to plug it in to a external moniter and it worked. Then windows asked me to start repair so i did. Then it started the process. But then it restarted and got stuck on the acer logo for 10 minutes so i forced a shutdown. Now it wont start at all when i hit the power button no life in it. I even tried resseting the laptop by pulling out the battery but that didnt work either im at a loss.

If laptop don't turn on at all means that something mechanical broke. This is quite old laptop fixing it is bad idea. Will be cheaper if you buy new one. Just don't take my words for granted its been build on amd parts don't know much about them.

This is mechanical damage this means we cant help you. You need to give it to someone who can fix it.
