I have a laptop with a MX150, and apparently, system would randomly crash when the laptop is plugged in. I posted a question and no one has answered, here's the link.

upon further inspection, i've found the problem lies within the nvidia gpu, because that gpu would be utilized when the laptop is plugged in. This is confirmed as when i disabled my nvidia driver, even when plugged in, everything works fine, but when i disable the intel driver, system would be impossible to use. I tried installing latest drivers, then older driver provided by laptop manufacturer, uninstalling geforce experience... nothing has seemed to work. sometimes system doesn't crash until probably a few minutes after booting up, or sometimes just immediately after booting up. Is it possible that i have damaged the gpu when i replaced the thermal paste, i mean it can still run, just not properly. Please any help would be appreciated, thanks.
