LCD is perfect, but is getting very dark

Hi All, I believe I know the answer to this already, but........

Dell Precision M6300 Laptop
Just a perfect screen on this LCD laptop 😱 GPU video card checks fine, I went ahead and exchanged it anyway. The problem is I can not get the screen to brighten up, bios set to max brightness as well as keyboard controls.....

What do we think everyone.....

they get dimmer over time.coupled with the fact they dont make them very bright to begin with = wears out faster.
