LCD white color trouble

Hello, I am writing this because I have no idea what to do. The screen works perfectly fine except when there is a new internet tab or software that has a white color. It starts flickering with a grey color and the cursor even has a grey shadow. Please help I have been trying to fix it for a year now going through alot of IT shops and so on. I would really appreciate it.

Hi, a picture of the screen will be helpful to diagnose your problem.

If you are lucky your backlit is going, which is "relatively" easy to fix.

If this is a CFL screen (5+ years old laptop), typically the inverter needs replacing, and/or lamps.

If this is a LED, the lamps maybe going.

Either way, first thing to do is to disassembly, disconnect the backlit cables, attempt to clean them, re-plug and see what happens.
