Lennovo Startup times

The new lennovo U300s is said to startup in about 10 seconds, while the u300 is said to start as fast as 15, with components that are basically identical, whats the deal, why the 5 second difference? Is their somthing I can do to speed up the u300

Boot time is fairly ambiguous. It depends a lot on how you measure it and what software you have installed, especially with Windows.

Are you really worried about the 5 second difference, even if that's a reliable number? It probably won't stay that way for the life of the PC.

i just tried it today and u300s starts and opens the ms win7 in 25sec.
