Solved! Lenov B Phone: Very Slow to Start

I have a Lenovo B mobile phone (android version 6.0), which is incredibly slow at starting.

I press the on button and the Lenovo logo appears for around 30 seconds.

After that a dialogue box appears on the screen that says:
Android is starting

Optimising app 1 of 1

The download sign, a rotating blue circle appears, which lasts for around 2 minutes 15 seconds.

Then another bit of dialogue 'starting' appears for around 10-15 seconds.

After that it goes to my home page, where my apps are. And at that point I can make calls and send texts.

This problem occurred after I did a factory reset, as I had lost the ringtone on the phone.

The factory reset fixed the ringtone, but now I have a very slow starting phone.

Can anyone please advise me as to what might fix the problem?

I tried your suggestion and it worked.

However, I tried a factory reset to solve the problem several days ago and it proved successful.

Unfortunately, the problem returned.

Let's hope that it won't this time.

Did you install any app since the hard reset?

Wasit jailbreaked?

Is a SD card inserted? Try booting without it

remove the sim card to have a look if it helps to boot quicker.

The phone isn't jail broken.

There's no SD card inserted.

I removed the sim - the phone didn't reboot quicker.

The phone and apps didn't need updating.

I tried a hard reset, retaining additional apps - didn't solve the problem.

Finally, I did a hard reset without retaining additional apps, after which I left the phone on for six hours before rebooting. This seems to have resolved the problem.
