Hi,
I have a 2-3 year old Lenovo E420
The CPU temperatures are constantly at 100 degrees Celcius whenever I'm playing a game (Counter Strike: Global Offensive)
This leads to intense throttling and a drop in FPS.
I've tried to limit the CPU's maximum power state to lower numbers, but it doesn't really help.
Is there any way to fix this, short of buying a new computer?

I've used compressed air to get rid of some of the dust in the vents and clean out the fan, but there's been a negligible change. Is there anything else I could do?

I'm going to try to change the thermal paste, but I can't find anything in the hardware maintenance manual to help me.
Is there a guide somewhere?
