Lenovo G40-30 Wont Power-up

Hello,

My friend's laptop has been working great then last week, it won't start-up anymore. I checked and this is what I noticed.

Physical appearance without any problem, no burning smell, and clean.

When pressing the power button, the battery and power lights blinks then nothing happens.

I removed the battery and plugged directly to the power source and the same thing happens. The power light blinks when the power button is pressed and nothing happens. I tried long-pressing the power button but it only blinked once, nothing happens.

I am planning to open the laptop to check the inside but I thought I would first ask here.

Any suggestion is highly appreciated. Thank you.

battery is fully charged?
charger is charging the battery while off? LED indicator

I had the same problem just 1 hour ago and now is solved.
I was installing a cracked version of the program Pixio Photo Clip pro... When i was installing ... the laptop shutdown and never restarted.
At first I tryed all answers to questions but nothing.
So i supposed it was a boot bloc issue.
I had cloned my disk so I changed it.
And now I would clone it again.

If you don't have a clone then you can try to boot from USB system installation and attempt a boot block repair.
