Hello,
I have been using my computer for 3 years and the warranty has expired.
Recently while I was watching a video the PC turned off suddenly.
-I tried booting without battery, with AC, it didn't work.
-I tried plugging out the battery and the adapter and holding power button for 30 seconds, it didn't work either.
- I tried reseating the Rams, one of which was added later by me, it worked once but then it shut down after a while and it ceases to work by far.
Trying all of the above won't solve the problem now.
What do I do now?

The hard disk light stays turned on if I only use AC adapter. If I use the battery, both the hard disk and the battery lights are active.
And for a brief moment the led near the webcam blinks for a second at startup.

I can only hear CD-Rom distinctively for a brief moment but I don't think I hear any other sounds.

Hmm. Hard to tell if it actually trying to turn on or not then. Try this and see if you can see anything at all on the other display....

1. Turn the laptop off (not sleep or hibernate but off).
2. Connect an external monitor to the laptop.
3. Turn on the external monitor.
4. Turn on the laptop.

NOTE: You may have to press an "external monitor" button. Could be the f4 button or a button with two monitors on it, for the external monitor to work.

Unfortunately connecting an external monitor or laptop is not possible for me at least for a week. But I can tell you that when I try to use caps lock or num lock they don't emit lights.

Thanks for the interest you've shown for the thread, I really appreciate it.
I am gonna update this as soon as I get a chance to try a new display :)
