Ken, I saw that you mentioned with the power of these AMD and radeon cards veing powerful enough why can't we use a 1080 screen. I found a screen that will fit plus a backlight keyboard. Why won't the 1080 work? Same size and same connectors. I bought the keyboard, if that works I'm buying the screen. Has anyone tried it? If noy I'll update you. I did it on an HP g7 and it worke, and when I I called HP, HP said it wouldn't. If anyone knows for sure please tell me.

If you are replying to a post by "Ken", you should reply to that post not start a new one. The issue with using a different resolution screen is not a matter of the video card power but the motherboard connections and BIOS.
