Was wondering if anyone might know whether the motherboard in a U310 ultrabook might allow for memory expansion beyond the 4GB that it comes with? I can't seem to find anything regarding this from the Lenovo website or from their support division and thought I'd ask here before I try and take things apart.

Thanks for tracking that down. Good enough for government work. I could care less about the warranty. It's been a great little workhorse but this thing has crashed somewhat frequently (a complete lock up & unresponsive) and it seems to happen when I have a lot of stuff open and working, so I figure it's chewing up that 4GB pretty readily. Hoping a RAM boost might help alleviate that.

1600MHz PC3-12800 204-Pin DDR3L SODIMM Laptop Memory
or

You'll want to make sure that the DRAM is 1.35V. It might state that in the specs, or it might be listed as DDR3L.
