Lenovo power button trick

I was unable to boot into BIOS screen on Lenovo T520, last night. I did the "Power button Trick" , fortunately it worked but the other morning the same thing happened again.

Is there any permanent solution to this?

Try reseating the battery, try a different battery. I have seen once in a while where the laptop just loses communication with the battery and we need to remove the battery, turn on the laptop and re-insert the battery. This was with Lenovo T models.
