Question Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon Will Not Turn On

Hello,
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon, and just today it never woke backup from sleep mode. I have tried all the online suggestions without success,

Verified there is power, both power supply and internal battery (All good).
Hold the power button down for ten seconds, no boot.
With a paperclip pushed the reset button on the back, no boot
Opened and removed battery plug from board.
Opened and removed CMOS plug from boad.

I get power at the finger scanner.

Past all the above and plugging all back, so signs of life. Anything else I should check before buying a new laptop.

Sounds like you tried pretty much everything, did you try swapping RAM or using one RAM stick at a time? Maybe remove the drive see if it boots to the BIOS screen at all? Did you check if it's covered by a warranty already?
