Lenovo and Asus are both good brands for reliability.

Lenovo gets a slightly higher rating for build quality and service
Asus is a bit more geared for generic consumers

In reality it comes down to which computer has better specs in it. If price, cpu, memory, hard drive, and all other factors are equal then I would say Lenovo just because of their better customer support.
