My 2 GB laptop suddenly turned off due to overheat when I was running Photoshop CS6 and at the same time opened a browser (which is really using the memory). I tried to boot it up again but unfortunately no light turns on, nor any signs of it being turned on.

Just a note that the same thing happened a few weeks ago. I tried to power drain the laptop but it didn't work. So what I did was I left it be, and in like 2 weeks, all of the sudden it's bootable again, and chargeable.

My asking is, is there any other way to fix this rather than waiting for it to become bootable again?
