Hi All:

I am looking to buy my first gaming laptop. This laptop will be my primary computer and I will have it hooked up to a monitor for a majority of the time. I am not interested in building a desktop because I enjoy the luxury of portability with a laptop. Disregarding price, which is the optimal choice?

My two choices are the Lenovo Y510p vs the Alienware 14. Both models will have max specs from the website which are as follows:

Hard Drive: 1TB 5400 RPM + 24GB SSD
Optical Drive: Ultrabay SLI Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GT755M GDDR5 2GB

Model: Alienware 14
