LG 55LB5900-UV Hit By Lightning

I have a 55" LG TV that got hit by lighting. I think the surge came through the cable box/coax because the cable box was toasted too but no other electronics in the condo. The TV has a power the light is on and also see the light on at the fiber optic hook up on the video board, but that is it. Can't get it to power up or do anything else. The main video board is EAX65391 006 (1.1) TV is about 3 years old. Is there any simple test to determine if the power board is good or the video board bad? The only tool I have is a volt meter. Before I invest in a video board I thought I would ask - thanks.

Well if the power supply in the TV managed to stop the surge it may have only cooked that, if it made it past the power supply you would likely need a new board and power supply. I am not sure how to go about diagnosing and repairing it, but I found this video on the topic.
