Solved! Lg C9 “Not Programmed”

My LG C9 says “Not Programmed”. I understand why, but how do I get rid of this message when I have no flow tv to tune/programme? I don’t get any tv signal from cable, antenna or otherwise. I only stream via built-in apps.

Is there any way to get rid of the message? LG support just told me ‘no’ and say it’s not a fault with the tv.

Just run the channel scan mode, fully. Once complete, save. This should stop the message from appearing.

Thanks - but I’ve tried that and it doesn’t fix the issue

You could try a signal booster for cable or antenna and possibly get enough of a signal to lock 1 channel.

This is an excellent suggestion. Just saving one channel should do the trick.
