Hi folks, hoping you may be able to help with this one.
I have an LG IPS231P computer monitor that has an issue. The screen is lit from the bottom, and it looks like only 1 or 2 of the "lights" are working. When first turned on, it is fine for about 2 seconds then most of the lights go off, (they will occasionally come back on again after a long time).
I dismantled it right back to all the different sheets of stuff behind the screen, hoping to find the light sources, but there was nothing so I am presuming that the lights are built into the screen. Do you have any ideas for the next step, or has anyone come across, (and hopefully solved), this problem before?
Cheers.

Cheers for the reply, should have explained that my electronic knowledge is quite limited so can you give me a clue. When I have the thing apart I have 2 boards, (3 actually), one is power and one is input and output to screen, (the third is on the rear of the screen). I am presuming that the inverter must be on the input board. I will try and put a photo up of the board.
